Peer Buddies

The focus of the Peer Buddies program is to bring together sighted and visually impaired teens to meet in a fun and relaxed setting increasing the teen's social skills. This group meets once a month for a party or an outing. They are encouraged to make friends and keep in touch with them outside of our monthly social gathering. Activities may include a Halloween party, roller-skating, a beach party or a trip to Knott's Berry Farm.

The Peer Buddy group enjoyed an evening of food and games on-site at BCLC. The kids planned their evening and after a nice dinner had fun playing Bingo and UNO with the games that where Brailed.
