Peer Buddies

The focus of the Peer Buddies program is to bring together sighted and visually impaired teens to meet in a fun and relaxed setting increasing the teen's social skills. This group meets once a month for a party or an outing. They are encouraged to make friends and keep in touch with them outside of our monthly social gathering. Activities may include a Halloween party, roller-skating, a beach party or a trip to Knott's Berry Farm.

Thanks to the Turkish American Ladies League (TALL) our Peer Buddies were able to go to Disneyland.  TALL sponsored the day of adventure, fun and exploring.  We appreciate all the support from TALL for our children and teens.
